The innovation of using aerial thermal imaging
I am delighted to introduce an innovative new drone system here at Sygma Drone Services. A DJI Mavic pro equipped with a FLIR thermal imaging camera. We can now offer a range of new thermal imaging services to existing and new clients.
Our thermal imaging building surveys use non-destructive techniques and equipment to highlight thermal anomalies and assess the performance of a building. After the successful completion of a thermal imaging survey, clients will receive an in-depth report. The report, comprised of thermal imagery and analysis, will outline any potential issues or areas of concern.
- Energy co-efficiency inspections
- Water leak inspections
- Equipment Testing
- Solar Panel Inspections
- Preventative Maintenance
- Construction & Architects Surveys
- Capture and assess the risk of damp, mould and condensation
- Find areas of significant heat transfer between internal and external elevations
- Find air leakage to locate cracks and unintentional openings in a building
"Thermal imaging cameras are devices that translate thermal energy (heat) into visible light in order to analyse a particular object or thermal irregularity."
Using a thermal camera attached to a drone allows inspections from an aerial perspective, this can give a big advantage as this allows us to gain any access of any reference point on the desired building or project, therefore eliminating the need for access equipment with handheld devices.
