Snetterton Track Day - Sygma Racers

On Friday 24th October several member of the Sygma team participated in a Snetterton Track Day with 3 Maxda MX5’s and two professional drivers! The day started out very wet but the sun came out in the afternoon making way for much faster laps. The day was finished off with ‘Hot Laps’ where we each went out with the Pro’s who showed us how it really should be done. Dragon Boat Festival - Sygma Sailors

|
On Saturday 6 September, several members of Sygma took part in a Dragon Boat Festival in Fen Ditton, Cambridgeshire. Our team consisted of a mixed crew of 10 rowers and one drummer and weather predictions meant we visualised rowing in pouring rain all day but someone was clearly looking after us as the sun shined for most of the day! The event was a huge success raising approx £14k across the 48 teams that took part. The proceeds went directly to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH), which aims to maximise the quality of life for children and young people with a life-threatening condition, and to support their families. The day was fantastic and we’re already planning our team, strategy and costumes for next year!

Intruder Department

Sygma are currently in the process of setting up a brand new intruder department. Historically, Sygma have taken on intruder alarms as a service to current clients, but with the increasing need for this type of security we decided to dedicate a department to it. The team is headed up by Paul Tompsett who originally started as a Service Engineer within Sygma only last year.

New Offices

Sygma have now relocated to our own premises. We are now based in Steeple Bumpstead in Suffolk, you will be able to see pictures of our new premises as well as pictures of the team on our website very soon.

Another SSAIB Accreditation

Sygma have now also gained accreditation from SSAIB for the installation of Intruder Alarms to BS.

SSAIB Registered

Sygma Security Ltd are now registered with SSAIB for Access Control and also the design, installation and maintenance of detector activated CCTV systems to the requirements of BS8418:2003.
