Kevin started Sygma in 2002. Formerly a Police Officer for Cambridgeshire Police for 7 years and in Bermuda for 5 years, he is notorious for his (appalling) driving skills and loves nothing more than winding up the office staff. Highly competitive at most things, Kevin refuses to face the fact that we let him win at most things to make him feel better - after all he pays the wages.
DIRECTOR, FIRE SERVICES
Having graduated from the Henley Business School, University of Reading in 2014, Seb's first job was as a flight representative for a multinational charter company, travelling around the world delivering aviation charter solutions, before moving into charter sales and rising to account manager for private jet charter customers. In joining Sygma, he has set up and is leading our new fire detection business, responsible for the sales, strategy and growth of all things fire.
Chris joined Sygma at the very beginning, in 2002, and has been in the industry for more than 20 years, a fact that he continually brings to the attention of all office staff! Born and bred in the East End he is living proof that you can take the boy out of the East End but you can't take the East End out of the boy! Chris loves nothing more than wasting money on motorbikes and other vehicles that never actually leave his garage.
Theresa joined Sygma as a Marketing Executive, however her role grew with the Company. She is responsible for all things office based including finance, marketing, personnel and compliance. Theresa loves all sport and spends all of her spare time either at the gym or running around after her two daughters.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Eddie joined Sygma in 2006 and has also been involved in the security industry since he was a mere lad! Eddie is our lovable, but typical Essex boy who loves nothing more than cars, girls and trying to convince everyone that he is one the most important person in the Company! Eddie is well known in the office for emailing you a query then calling you several times to make sure you got it!
BARRY BURGESS ALLEN
Barry is the calming influence in the Accounts office, possibly the quietest, laid back of all team members. He does, however, ensure the team sticks to our traditional 'Chip Friday' - to which Chris is very grateful!
Eve is responsible for the 'Service and Maintenance' and Monitoring contracts, from renewals to invoicing and keyholders to Police response. Eve is also a part-time hairdresser and loves nothing more than a good boogie, she is always the first up to dance at a party dragging everyone with her and is well known in the office for her travels - squeezing in as many flights a year as possible!
Kay joined Sygma as the Service Co-ordinator, since then Kay's role has progressed into that of an all round administrator; assisting with quotes, sales and being Theresa's right hand lady! Kay is big on family and loves her 'girly getaways'.
Mark joined Sygma at the very beginning and in that time he has watched the industry swing towards the IP technology and had mastered the change. Mark is one of three Project Engineers, he is highly trained and has completed further training for ISM, DVtel and Siemens just this year. Marks tenacity pays dividends on all of his projects.
Brian is one of three Project Engineers within Sygma, he has a wide grasp of all of the disciplines that the industry as to offer. Brian is particularly skilled on IP including Axis cameras, Mobotix and Borer having completed training during the past year.
Returned to Sygma in February 2012 having previously been with us for 4 years - Saul left us for a short period of time but he found he couldn't stay away and is now back project managing a prestigious PFI maintenance contract in Suffolk and Norfolk.
Darren is another long standing member of team who is particularly diligent with paperwork and following procedures, Darren's best attribute is fault finding which he relies on daily in his role. Darren has completed all training, with Axis being the most recent.
Iain is by far the quietest member of the Sygma Team, spending his days going about his full time role within a prestigious group of sites.
Conor has received training on IP through Norbain and is Water certified.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SERVICE MANAGER
Martin joined Sygma as a Business Development Manager, since then his role has expanded to include Service Co-ordinator. Martin is responsible for manning the Service Desk, ordering equipment and allocating service calls to engineers.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Bill has a wealth of experience having been working within the security industry since 1968. Bill's extensive knowledge allows him to tender for the much larger projects.
Craig worked for Sygma previously before disappearing around the world for a year. Craig then trained and qualified as an electrician before returning to Sygma to hone his security skill set. Craig is neat and diligent to the extreme and he added Axis and DVTel training to his list of qualifications, putting him firmly back in the driving seat.
Andy is our engineer dedicated to our Northern sites; completing installations, reactive callouts and preventative maintenance inspections. Andy has extensive experience in the security industry and his wealth of knowledge is a real asset to Sygma.
PROJECT ENGINEERING CONSULTANT
Simon is another engineer who had a brief period away from Sygma and then returned in 2011. Simon manages one of our main client accounts, a Housing Association, in London. His full time job requires remaining within the London sites reacting to callouts, installations and carrying out preventative maintenance visits to all sites.
Sandra is responsible for outbound telemarketing calls, sending company literature and researching prospective client databases.
After graduating Harry went to work for a construction company working on their systems and processes, after all that excitement he then set up a digital marketing company providing consultancy for businesses in and around the Cambridge area. Harry now spends his days keeping busy with all things drone related at Sygma; from thinking up new applications for the use of drones, to being our chief pilot along with some business strategy, planning and marketing.
