Wishing 'Happy Birthday' to Sygma's Managing Director Kevin White this month. When Kevin founded Sygma nearly 14 years ago we were a small company with big ambitions. We recognised that whilst the electronic security market had many companies already operating in the UK, that many of these companies did not value the importance of customer service when providing a security service. It is putting customer requirements at the heart of everything we do which has allowed us to grow a national base of clients and a reputation for customer service excellence. However, despite this growth, we still value every client as much as we did in the beginning.
Our passion for providing the best possible CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Door Entry or physical security solution designed individually for each client remains as strong now as it was 14 years ago when Kevin was much younger with a lot less grey hair!
Also, our thanks and congratulations to Mark Holliwell who joined Sygma 13 years ago in the role of CCTV/Access control engineer. Since then Mark has progressed to the role of Project Engineer where he is primarily responsible for managing 2 large customer sites with over 800 cameras in total and complex CCTV/Access Control/Intruder alarm integration systems. Like all Sygma engineers Mark has honed his IP networking skills over recent years and is looking forward, over the coming year, to implementing and managing the transition of 630 analogue CCTV cameras, to IP network cameras, for his key account customer. This challenging project will include the installation of a fibre optic backbone, a CISCO switch network and an AXIS IP camera solution recorded onto a series of TECTON network video recorders utilising a TECTON virtual matrix. It is this type of project which is at the cutting edge of commercial security systems and Sygma are proud to have team of dedicated and skilled engineers such as Mark who are confident and able to install and maintain this type of system solution.
